IT Service Desk

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Log all helpdesk interactions
  • Administer help desk software
  • Respond to request for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Prepare activity reports
  • Inform management of recurring problems
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Inform management of recurring problems
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Manage PC set up and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Assist with onboarding of new users
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of any IT related course
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant technical experience
  • Willing to work overtime
